Just watched Revolver (http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/revolver/).
Confusing.
I thought I was watching a film, but apparently it's all a metaphor for Kabbalic Mysticism, which doesn't make much sense because as a metaphor it fails. I only know what the movie was about because I had to look up to convince myself that I hadn't missed an important part of the movie while I was watching it. Nope, it's just THAT confusing. The script was something like:
"That may or may not be an apple"
"But it's a golden apple, and a golden apple tells the truth."
"But the truth isn't what you're looking for is it?"
"So where does it all lead?"
Fucking what!? Stop it. I don't watch movies for the pictures, I watch them for a story, hell it might not even be about Kabbalah, that's just what people think it's about. The movie kind of points you in a direction during the credits when a bunch of REAL psychologists talk about the ego.
