Ever wondered just what motivates heroes and villians to partake the dicey games they play? Ever wondered why, for no apparent reason, villians have hordes of lackeys willing to die for outrageous causes? Ever wondered in there's a show that parodies your favorite cartoons of yesteryear?
Then holy shit, divvy this: such a show exists! Yes! And it answers all those questions, in one of of the widest, funniest, and most brilliantly executed story arcs you'll ever encounter.
I put it in the Snootbucket, because - in New Zealand at least - [Adult Swim] no longer exists. The night's given to Funimation's poor attempts to Americanize anime. And it proves my higher taste.
So...any fans?
Here's a preview, which hopefully isn't embedded (I don't post videos very often)

Venture Brothers is an incredible show. I've got the first two seasons on DVD, although I can't get anyone else I know to give it a chance ("what the hell is this shit, dude?"). Need to catch up on the recent stuff; the latest episode I saw was the Nancy Drew sisters.

Awesome show. The ending of the third season makes me cry.

One of the best current generation Adult Swim shows in my opinion.

I love me some Patrick Warburton, and I have vague recollections of Johnny Quest being ridiculous and racist, so I'm a big fan of the show. I can never seem to catch it, or afford the DVD's, though.

Has the third series been released on DVD? As mentioned before it's kind of "alternative" viewing over here. I had to download series three. Sue me, bitches.
And I share your pain. I've lent season one to two friends only to have it returned with raised eyebrows and cold shoulders. Meh.

Also, has anyone been here: http://www.quickstopentertainment.com/2008/12/23/venture-bros/
The mp3's down the bottom. We may never hear 21 and 24 together again...

Everyone I tell to watch this show just says, "That looks gay."
I respond in kind.
One of my favourite shows this year, I only discovered it 3 weeks ago and immediately went out and bought season 1 and 2 as I think that these are the only seasons available in Australia at this time.
Also if anyone knows why that Aqua Teen Hunger Force season 5 is for sale, when season 3 has only just been released, could they tell me?

Venture Bros. is great. It started out as an awesome parody of Hanna-Barbara cartoons, and it somehow managed to get even better as time went on. I cannot wait until Season 4 starts up.
In order to watch Season 3, I downloaded them all from Xbox Live.

I will not deny that this is a fantastic series, but it really needs more of... the Nozzle.

OK, I saw episode 1 of season 4. I could only download half of it, due to some mix up whereby the East Coast was fed the first half twice, but I saw the rest on YouTube. It was pretty good, but kinda difficult to follow. Whether that's because I saw it in parts or what, I don't know, but hopefully if I see a full version it'll be better.
