I went to a concert with two of my co-workers last night to see him. I hadn't heard his newest album, 3 Balloons, so I was pretty excited. A problem I thought I'd have with his music is that his skits are obvious and basically repeats from his other shows, like how comedians use the SAME DAMN JOKES ALL THE TIME!
I don't think I've ever laughed my ass off as hard as I did last night. Ever.
It didn't bother me at all. The crowd was out of breath quite a few times because he had us laughing so hard. Even though it was promotion for his new album, he still played his more popular songs from the old ones.

Definitely a great show. I'm sure he was already drunk beforehand, but it seemed like he was getting way too happy on stage. The ending of the concert was brilliant, and I don't think he would have done it sober (don't think anyone would have). He also does a few songs by his friend David Josefsberg, who is also quite hilarious. If you are in the area for one of his or Lynch's concerts, or if you can pick up a CD, I recommend it.

Like I mentioned before, he played a few of his older songs, but I wish he would have played more than what he did. Sure, Beelz, Craig, and Special Ed (or Fred) are all fine and dandy, but what about For the Ladies? Or Superhero? Even one of his skits sounded like it was going to be lead into the Superhero song. Would have been perfect, but at least he put out a good hilarity or five instead by talking about his past student lectures where he played guitar. "Ghandi is what you said. An Indian with a bald head... Looked a little bit underfed. WRITE IT DOWN, MOTHERFUCKERS!"
Anyway, if I had to review the live performance he did, I'd have to give it four and a half curly pubic hairs out of five. As for his new CD, it gets only four inches of hermaphrodite penis out of five, but gets some extra cum shots.
